Description |

The Series 9800 Marine Intercom System is an ideal intercom/radio
communications solution for the demanding marine environment. Our Series 9800
provides a reliable and effective solution for the high-noise environments of
"Go-fast" boats, as well as other high-performance racing and recreational boat
applications.

The U9800S Master Station is the heart of the system and is used with the Model
U9810PD Panel Display and 9800 Series noise-reducing headsets to provide clear,
crisp intercom communications for up to six crewmembers, two of whom can have
radio transmit capability.

|
Full duplex intercom means that multiple parties can speak at the same time and
there is no loss of communication. The system is voice-activated (VOX) to
minimize excess background noise.

The housing is corrosion resistant and weather-tight for long-lasting
operation.

Two mobile radio connections are available and allow communication to multiple
sources (e.g., weather, police, etc.).

In addition, the system has an auxiliary-in connection for CD, stereo sources,
etc. Because this is a supplementary input, whenever transmit/receive occurs on
Radio 1 or 2, the auxiliary-in source will automatically mute.

If desired, the split-audio functionality will enable the user to hear Radio 1
source in one ear and Radio 2 in the other ear.
